Inviting and Accessing Message Portal - For Patients

The Aster platform allows you to securely communicate with patients through our messaging portal. Follow these two ways to invite patients and help them get started:

Method 1: Invite via 3-Dot Menu

  1. Go to the patient’s profile in Aster.

  2. Click on the 3-dot menu in the patient portal.

  3. Select Send Invitation.

  4. The patient will automatically receive an email invitation to sign up.

Method 2: Send a Message (auto-invites patient)

Step 1: Send a Message

  • From the patient’s profile, go to the Messaging tab.

  • Compose and send a message to the patient.

Step 2: Patient Receives Email Invitation

  • Sending a message will automatically trigger an email invitation to the patient’s email address on file.

  • The email will prompt the patient to sign up for the Aster messaging portal.

Step 3: Patient Signs Up

  • The patient follows the email instructions to create an account.

  • Once registered, the patient can log in to view your message and reply through the portal.

  • Note: The patient will receive a code to verify their email. This code is case sensitive

Step 4: Ongoing Access

  • After setup, patients can always access the messaging portal at:
    👉 my.astercare.com


Tips: Remind patients to check their spam/junk folder if they don’t see the invitation email right away.
