Create A Check List

Creating a checklist in Aster helps ensure nothing falls through the cracks in patient care by keeping key tasks organized and easy to track. It’s a simple tool to support consistency, accuracy, and peace of mind in your daily workflow.

Instructions

Step 1

From the Aster home page, select Patients

Step 2

Select the your Patient

Step 3

Select Encounters

Step 4

You can use an existing Prenatal or Basic note. If you don’t have one, click Create Note and select either Basic or Prenatal.

Step 5

On the left hand side scroll down to To Do, select the 3-dot menu dropdown, then select Manage templates

Step 6

Select New

Step 7

Enter the Template name, then select Add section

Step 8

Enter data and be sure to select the "+" sign to add each task

Step 9

When finished, select Save

Step 10

On the left hand side scroll down to To Do, select the 3-dot menu dropdown, then select Use templates
