Newborn Exam

Aster’s Newborn Exam makes it easy to document early assessments with a structured template designed specifically for newborn care. It streamlines charting so you can focus more on the patient and less on paperwork.

Instructions

Step 1

Select Patients on the left vertical navigation menu

Step 2

Select the patients name

Step 3

Select Encounters on the horizontal navigation bar

Step 4

Select the most recent Immediate Postpartum Encounter

Step 5

Select Notes, then Baby, and then Template

Step 5

Once on the Template pop-up window, scroll down to Newborn Exam and edit/delete the details as needed.

*Select the downward arrow on the right hand side to expand the notes section.
